What exactly is YUPIMO?
YUPIMO is an upcoming app where your virtual companion visits a friend. Your friend captures photos and short videos with the companion in the frame. When the visit ends, your companion comes home with a story of those moments.
Do I need to travel somewhere?
No. Your companion travels virtually. A friend’s breakfast, a neighbourhood walk or an evening at home can become part of the adventure.
How long does a visit last?
A visit can be planned for 12 hours to 5 days. Both people agree on the visit, and the companion returns when it ends.
Can I capture photos and videos?
Yes — the planned experience uses live camera capture, with your companion added to the frame. Videos are up to 10 seconds. Moments can become a postcard during the visit or a surprise for the return.
Do I have to buy gifts?
No. Gifts are optional and are for a visiting companion. Sending a companion, capturing moments and enjoying the return story do not require a gift purchase.
When can I download it?
YUPIMO is in development for iOS and Android. A release date has not been announced. The links on this page will take you to the stores once the app is available.
